Lightbulb Weight Reduction - more than basic, tips?

Well, this saturday (most probable) or the next one im going to go to the race track to improve my times, which gets harder and harder each time because my driving techniques are very good now and its very hard to get better...Im going to do some weight reduction and I needed some tips...i want to do more than the basic weight reduction, like removing spare tire, jack & tools, 1/4 tank of gas, removing back seat. Ive done that already, but it seems hard to remove the passenger seat, something that i defenitely want to do...can anyone help me on this, what tools do i need what do i have to do?

I also want to do some weight reduction that is more time consuming...what things do you recommend, removing the air conditioning, the trunk, door panels (just ideas)...anybody?

I always lower my front wheels preassure and increase the back ones. I have no cat, do you think an octane booster can help me a little, perhaps .1? or is that too much?

Any crazy or helpful ideas/tips will be greatly appreciated...

octane booster proy wont help much... why do you want to strip stuff out of a valuable car? it wont sell for as much if you need to get rid of it if you have the a/c and stuff taken out

There's four bolts to take the front seat out. 100lbs removed = 0.10 So till you start doing some serious weight redictions, cross beam, lexan, CF replacement, all sound deadening materials, race seats etc...you're wasting your time.

This may sound stupid and extreme to some...but if you're serious about racing...it may be time to go on a diet. My best friend dropped 75lbs over a 3-4 month period to help his times...of course he was fat he needed to get in shape anyway...but...it's a pretty cheap and unintrusive modification that doesn't lower the value of your car. Of course this wouldn't do you much good if you're already a skinny guy.

Re: Weight Reduction - more than basic, tips?

I've been telling a few guys around here to do that...almost all of the guys with really fast cars are really big guys who are looking to improve times...Im always suggesting a diet if not to improve times to at least get them in better shape but no one listenes to me

Re: Weight Reduction - more than basic, tips?

Well Im not going to leave it like that, im goint to put it all back on!... its just for one day. When I did weight reduction, basic, back seats, spare tire, jack, etc...my times improved .3 seconds, a lot. So if i remove more stuff maybe i can get another .2. Achieving my best time, and then quit going to race my car at the track because its going to be so much trouble removing all the shit. Im skinny 130 lbs.
