moonroof hose is FLOODING my poor car!!!

hi guys i'm new to your forum. I have a 94 civic EX coupe. I was wondering if any of you had the driver side front drain hose from your sunroof come loose off your drain valve in the wheel well. If so please help

First off, are you sure that there isn't anything in the hose blocking the water? The easy way to check for that is to use an air compressor to blow some air down there.

If the hose has come off, I think you may end up taking off the fender to reconnect it. I've never had one come off like that, although i have had ones that were blocked by dirt/crap in the hose.

I could be wrong with what you need to do to reconnect it, I don't know exactly how the hose runs in this model of civic, but you're going to need to be able to see what you're doing.

And if it is flooding the inside of your fender and that area, that's rust waiting to happen.

Re: moonroof hose is FLOODING my poor car!!!

Mine is flooding the passenger floor. In the rainy summer months the carpet is like a wet sponge underneath the floormats. I'm going to try and fix it soon.. I have a 2000 Civic so it may be different, but I'll reply back and tell you what I did.
