91 TC door hinges

Anyone know if there is a fix for these other than replacing them

Someone had some luck finding a hinge repair kit on that site.

I had this problem with my 92 Executive series and the only option was to replace the whole hinge assembly (no one knew of a repair kit). I had it done at a Ford dealership body shop and it was only around $270. Not bad considering that it was the upper mount and it was drivers side door.

But this was 3 years ago and shop rates vary.

Re: 91 TC door hinges

Thanks Guys, fixed the problem. The five dollar kit worked well. the big mis-conception is that the hinges don't go bad. the factory hinge has bushings in it, it was easy, just a half hour per side with two people. thanks
