Quicktime Electric Exhaust Cutout

I have been looking into getting an aftermarket exhaust for my 2000 GTP and have found that they are more expensive than i had hoped. I started looking for a cheaper alternative and found the Quicktime Electric Exhaust Cutout on pfyc.com. I think that this and headers would work well but Im not sure because I cant find a lot of information on it. Does anybody know of any problems with using this setup or have any ideas for a better setup?

Re: Quicktime Electric Exhaust Cutout

I used to run that cutout. I loved being able to open it with the switch. I gained atleast .1- .2 in the 1/4 mile with the addition of the cutout.

Unfortunatly it didnt stand up to well against the IL winters and failed after I moved to TX.

I just have the cutout capped now.

Its a great little toy and I think it w/ headers and ubend delete it should be all u need

Re: Quicktime Electric Exhaust Cutout

Thanks for the advice Ripn12s. What failed on it in the IL winter? I ask because I live in IL.

Re: Quicktime Electric Exhaust Cutout

The motor stopped working. This happened to alot of people and Quicktime wouldnt warrenty their product.

Try the Mccord Power Plate instead, its cheaper and people say better built.
