2004 Chrysler Crossfire VS. 2004 G35 Coupe

I have a choice of getting the new Chrysler crossfire or the g35 coupe with the premium and tire package (crossfire come with everything standard). We have an FX35 and its a great car so i like infiniti, but the G35 coupe is everywhere... please give me some advice. thanks

If you want more power and a 6speed than get the coupe but if you want something that not everyone has yet get the crossfire

don't get the crossfire yet. they're putting out a supercharged version called the SRT-6 that makes 330 hp. get that.

Exclamation I hope you have'nt bought anything yet!

I hope you have'nt bought anything yet! Im in Infiniti sales and before that in chrysler. I took home a crossfire not enough room in the 2 seater coupe that starts at $36K. My Sales Manager has one but he is leasing it for 3 yrs only and cannot get out! WHY?!? Original price $36,000 2004 model crossfire after 6 months the 05 came and he wanted to see what value his have. now today an 04 going to the auction with less than 10k mile is average book of $19,800. YOU DO THE MATH! I you bought an 04 infiniti g35 coupe for $36,000. today they are going for $31,200 in the auction. I love infiniti coz they dont depreciate as fast as any cars. go to edmunds and find out what car holds the most value and you will find the g35 coupe.

The Crossfire isn't so much a bad car as it was a bad idea. Like many of Chryslers bad ideas in the past, Daimler has just kept traveling down the same old road. This company has so much history and heratige to draw upon, and instead of doing so they continue to try shortcuts. It's bad enough that half their cars in the '80's had Mitsubishi motors, or worse yet, were Mitsubishi's with Dodge or Chrysler emblems on them, now they are doing the same things with Mercedes. Granted it's all the same company overall, but the concept of crossbreeding(no pun intended) two distinctly different entities is still not very viable. The Chrysler group has done so much for the automotive industry in the last 10 to 15 years with the Viper, Prowler, 94' Ram pickup and so forth, that for them to start back the other direction with cars like the Crossfire is just plain sad. Whether you like the above stated vehicles or not you can at least see the influence they've had. Taking a Mercedes SLK, dumbing it down, and putting goofier sheet metal on it does not accomplish the same kind of revolutionary affect. It's basically the answer to a question nobody is asking. I think that most top end buyers will go for the Mercedes anyway, at least if they know a damn thing. So after that rant,....I fourth it.

Re: 2004 Chrysler Crossfire VS. 2004 G35 Coupe

Basically, an Infinti G35 would go over a Chrysler Crossfire any day in my opinion. The G35 has a special FAST look that the Crossfire fails to achieve. I reckon the Crossfire looks OK from the front but they made the back WAY TOO flat and small.
