Check engine light is on. How can I pull codes?
My check engine light came on tonight (2002 Eleantra). The car runs and drives normally, all fluids are full. Is there any way I can pull the trouble codes. Thanks for any information.

you need an obdII scan tool. this car should be under waranty go make the dealer do it. it's probably an emissions evap code and they'll tell you to tighten the gas cap. just a hunch. or autozone will scan the codes for free

Re: Check engine light is on. How can I pull codes?
I have an appointment with the dealership tomarrow. The light just turned off tonight, for the first time since it came on. The gas cap thing is exactly what the dealer said when I called.
Thanks for the input, Johnny |
