NEED HELP 93 Teg Fuel Tank replacement problem

Okay, my friends and I installed a newer fuel tank into my car, but now it won't start, everything is hooked up correctly, do I need to reset the fuel pump? If so, how? I don't have an owner's manual.

Re: 93 Teg Fuel Tank replacement problem

Did you use the same fuel pump or the one that was in the newer tank?

The newer pump is supposed to be toasted, however I think we figured out the problem, when my friend was lowering the tank, it fell and it pulled the wire giving the pump electricity from the battery, we're going to repair the wire (had to take out my back seats) and that should work because the pump simply was not getting power. If it still doesn't work we're going to try the other pump (which is actually 3 years older than mine it's from a 1990 2dr).
