b18c turbo??

I have a B18C motor on a civic sedan.. And i want to put in a turbo kit on it... Is it a good choice to put in the DRAG GEN 3 kit? its states it can give you 450HP.. is it possible still to increase the HP on that?

just a little thing i noticed "...on a civic sedan" as if youre using the civic as a workbench or something? hah ah hah just messin

You can run the drag kit...but most people dont like it...IVe heard bad things about the manifold and general setup. plus if i think they assume youve upgraded your internals (800 for rods, 500 for pistons, plus sleevejob and headwork) so you cant just bolt it on and get 450 hp without blowing it all to hell.

I have the drag gen 3 kit on my civic and I dont have any complaints about the company or the quality of their products. when I installed my kit I had a little leak in the turbo but that was a defective turbo from turbonetics. I just told them about it and they sent me a new one replace the old one. they seem to be a very good company and they stand behind their kit. The kit does make a signifigant difference in horse power of the car but you will need a fuel and boost controller to reach the hp levels you are trying to achieve but that is with any kit.

first thing first... the drag kit is a decent kit certainly not the best but not the worst either... most of the kits that you order like rev hard, drag etc usually have a preset wastegate that opens up at 7 pounds so expecting to buy a kit and just slap it on and get 450hp out of it is ridiculous... the turbo that comes with the drag kit last time I checked is a T3/T4 which provided everything is done right has the capability to give you 400+bhp but certainly not on the 7 pound wastegate spring the kit comes with... as far as the "bad thing", that is in reference to the exhaust manifold because that is where the turbo is mounted... most kits don't come an intake manifold (except the edelbrock I believe)... the only complaint I personally have with the DRAG kit is the downpipe, not exactly the best design and certainly wasn't something that was able to be bolted up immediately, had to make some adjustments to it before going in... try doing a search in the forum DRAG kits have been discussed many times along with other kits...
