Its only a bad thing if you're responsible for cleaning it up!

Sorry your day went that bad.

Maybe if you think of this when you are having a bad day with your children it will brighten your day.

I have 5 of them. (crap, now I feel shitty!)

My son (LITTLE SHIT THAT HE IS)flushed his sister's teletubby doll,La La
as a revenge attack for a previous big sister strike on his teddy bear. The teddy bear wasn't a problem(it just blocked the pan,and flooded the carpet),but La La went scuba diving bigtime and wedged in the sewer pipe outside.

I had to dig up the front garden, cut out a section of pipe, harpoon La La with my spear gun(a satisfying act in itself, but not entirely consoling under the circumstances)and then drag it out.Of course,I was standing in the trench when I cleared the blockage, and the backed up water and "sh-one-t"all rushed out,but I was expecting that,so I had gumboots on.

The last straw was when I went to Plumbing World for replacement pipe and joiners. After the buy was made,as I was about to head back home for an afternoon in a sh1t-filled trench, the last words of the sales assistant were...

"Have a nice day!"

Too bad I didn't have that wet stinking yellow piece of fluff with me.Somebody might just have ended up eating it.

Two weeks on I can laugh about it.The kids are still mourning the loss of their favourite teddy bears. No way could they be rescued and cleaned. So,in the long term,I hope they learnt something.I did. It's the "big snip"for me,I don't want to have to train any more kids!
