Can’t reset oil life monitor

After my last oil change the oil life monitor started coming on at startup. I know how to reset it and have tried about 10 times but it will not clear. Any ideas?

Turn the ignition switch to run, all warning lights on, and rapidly depress the accelerator 3 times. The indicator should flash indicating it has reset. Then, turn the switch off and re-start the vehicle. That should take care of the problem.

Re: Can’t reset oil life monitor

also make sure the pedal is going down all the way.
extra floor mats can get in the way.
