Post turbo f22

hello, i need all the advice i can get. What should i do to my f22 enging and transmission to make it hold a 8psi turbo? Money is not an issue, but i dont want to do a swap. So what do i have to do to hold the turbo without my motor exploding. Please help.

Re: turbo f22

nothing. Just put the turbo on. 8 to 11 psi isnt much pressure. If you wanna get some real boost on there like 20 or more Get High tensle steel head bolts and the gnarlyest metal head gasket you can get. It will hold just fine.

If I were you I would get something with an internal digital adjustable waste control. Then you can keep it on the low most of the time and when you wanna shredd some fool you can crack it open.

not true

the info I have gotten from anyone who has done a turbo in an f22 has said that on 7-8 lbs. the motor lasting, is a luck thing. these are the weaker pistons that Honda makes to have a turbo on. my accord is running fine & i have had the turbo in it for the last 6 months, but i think the rings are going to start going pretty soon. The next thing is adding some rods and pistons!!! then I can have real boost, of course after it is tuned completely for the extra boost!!

Re: turbo f22

7-8 psi is fine for most motors and transmissions. I'd stay 6-7 to be safe, most turbo kits run 6-7psi.
