if you have a stoichemetric air\fuel gauge, a fuel pressure regulator and fuel gauge (optional), you can gradully increase your fuel pressure, when your car starts to run rich you can turn the boost up. Normally try to go up in boost increments of 2 psi, when you start leaning out then add more fuel. Caution: it is possiable to be limited to how much boost you can run by the octane of fuel (because of cam duration/lift and timing). Dont think that if you just add more fuel that you are going to solve detonation. Must run on 100,104,110,116 octane fuel, to up the boost any more then what you normally boost @ with detonation on pump gas, on the other hand it is possible to add too much fuel and hydraulic the engine although that it is very hard to do, its possible.

so two_4tee_2nr, if you have your air\fuel gauge, fuel pressure regulator, adjustable wastegate, you can turn up the boost and fuel. get someone who knows what to their doing to listen for detremental sounds, and possibly hookup a scanner or other knock sensing device to detect detonation until your experinced with this sort of thing and you are willing to trust your self in your engine.(but you know this already)

use some common since when tuning your car, make sure that your not trying to make more horsepower then your parts are able to make.

the only thing that I could think of why you are flaming out is becuase you might be too rich. If your able to monitor and adjust the air fuel ratio go ahead a lean it out a bit to see if it will decrease the amount of flame. Leaner is not always meaner if you dont put enough fuel into the cylinder then its not going to have the amount of gas to make the compression to send the piston back down = loosing power. happy tuning....
