camaro back seat belts question

seat belts rear seat Caramro 1969 question. Two spaces on inside of interior panel for holding female seatbelts. the car I looked at then had three matched sets male and female. any idea why? or was this just a poor example?

camaros were orginally family/sports cars equipped to seat 5, ur seein 3 sets of seat belts for 3 ppl in the back. "Two spaces on inside of interior panel for holding female seatbelts." im not sure what u mean there. if ur talkin about the 2 slots in the console... well i have no idea y but chevy put 2 slots in the console specifically for 2 of the 4 seatbelts used in the front driver and passenger seats, 1 for the shoulder strap, and 1 for the lap. the shoulder straps female had those nice slots to snap them into, prob cuz no one used them!! hahahaha
