Need y'alls help....

Ok guys, you are my trusted bunch so I need your opinions on my following purchase ideas (yay Andrew's finally 18 and can finance a car!!!! w00t

Honda Civic CRX Si- Very light weight, cheap, engine swap possibilities, VTEC possibility. Downsides: FWD, Honda, not alot of power right off the bat...

Ford Mustang (5.0 GTs only)- Classic, cheap, very powerful, engine bay is very clean, lots of potential. Downsides: Ford, gas guzzler, hard to maintain...

Acura Integra RS (1994 +)- Cheap, cheap aftermarket parts, can be nice. Downsides: Acura, FWD, kinda... well.... weird.

Nissan 240SX- Variety of engine swaps, good appearance, not too popular, RWD Downsides: more expensive to purchase and then maintain

Then a few others, but these are the main ones.

Re: Need y'alls help....

Even though I like the 240 the best, you got a 3.8L going up against all these little imports. Even though the 240 is not as heavy as the GT it is not that big of a margin and the torque that thing has even stock will make up for that quite easily. You have the possibility of boring and stroking the GT then just a little valve train work and you will have a very strong performer, plus they sound sick when you work some more power into them. They are not hard to maintain, not harder than any other car. The fuel thing can be fixed up pretty well with the addition of a chip or a little work on the ecu. its an easy was to add power and supprisingly bosts up the milage quite well.

The 240sx is getting extremely popular. You're probably going to pay more for one that what it's worth.

shes right the 240 is friggin popular.. and its one of the best drifting cars out there.. but even if ur not using it for drifting.. it has more torque at lower rpms than the honda/acura engines.. and it eats alot less gas and is more reliable than the ford
