hardbody 300z swap

I'm kicking around the idea of swapping a nissan 300zx 3.0 v6 in my 97 standard cab hardbody. (Keep in mind I'm a hardcore minitrucker and love fabrication). The factory SE v6 on the older trucks were 3.0 so the block should be similiar. So I guess my question is has this been done and will it cause clearance issues when I airbag the truck. I know I wouldn't be able to fit the twin turbo model.

Any ideas would be great.

Let me know if you find anything! I have been doing reasearch to do something like that also, but considering using a sr20det. I just bought a 96 extra cab for $500 because it smoked badly. Bad rings I am guessing. But I want to do something different then your standard minitruck set up.
