how much does it cost?
Im wondering how much performance shops charge per hour. does the rate change because of job complexity. For example installing a bolt on vs changing the head or replacing the cams. Has anyone taken their car to be dyno tuned? How much?

Now this is definetely going to vary not only from shop to shop...but from region to region. But expect to pay atleast $45+ per hour in labor for a shop. Most shops in this area range from $50-70/hr. At the one dyno in this area I believe we spent 2 hours tuning on it at $50/hour. But like I said...these could be very different in your area.
