Classic SE-R Roll Call

Who here has a 1991-94 SE-R? What mods have you done and(if you've ran it) what's your 1/4 time?

I've got a maroon colored 1994 SE-R. Wonderful SR20DE with an HKS intake, HKS plugs, ACT 6-puck clutch, 8.5lb unorthodox flywheel, and some new SE-R badges on the sides. I ran a best of 14.64 at sea level. 15.5 at 7000ft. I recently had a bad oil spill(damned Grease Monkey) so my mods for the near future include an SR20VE swap and an HKS exhaust.

Re: Classic SE-R Roll Call

Hmm, judging from my butt-dyno, I'd say a good 15-20hp a piece. Too bad I couldn't score some Type-R badges. I heard those break any car into the 12's

Re: Classic SE-R Roll Call

Hey, wait. You're the guy that wanted my SE-R, huh? Sorry I didn't reply, but I didn't need to sell it after all. I have a 1993 SE-R but I have bigger plans for the 94.

Re: Classic SE-R Roll Call

1992 SE-R here. "Mods" are highly-advanced timing, and generic cone air-filter.

Best time with a bad clutch and slight wheelspin was 15.00 @ 99 on GTech.

According to GTech's site, their traps usually run about 4 to 5mph faster than the actual track, as they measure your speed from exact stop to when you reach an exact 1/4-mile as opposed to in-between two sets of timing lights.

If people ask, I usually say 15.00 @ 94mph .

Wow, a 15 flat with 1 and a half mods. That's really good. Gtech's are pretty damned accurate. I don't have one but I need to get around to getting one.
