My Friend took this picture. So for those of you who missed it, you can see what the track layout was like.

those are 180SX that you've labelled as S14's there a couple times, Redneck.

otherwise, nice pics and i hate you! lol

so Yasuyuki Kazama won? that's fucking awesome! good to finally see one of the relative under-dogs win instead of Ueo or Imamura or Taniguchi, who seem to be the 3 that always win these days.

how'd that S14 crash? i'm pretty sure that's one of the American drivers, right?

how'd Fixmer blow his tranny?

it really hurts me to see S15's and 180SX's with APC decals on them...but hey, whatever gets those guys over here more often is good by me. i'll just try to ignore the decals.

i officially hate anyone who got to go.

180sx... 240sx... they all look the same to me... just like Asian people.

Anywho, not sure how Fixmer broke his tranny. It may not of been his tranny but it would run, but wouldnt move made some horrible sounds when it broke.

A AE86 did almost the same thing, I think he spun a bearing. He was coming around the hairpin nice. Engine was wound up, and klaklaklak. He lost power and rolled into the staging area.

Not sure how the Blue S14 crashed, there were four drivers from Japan that came all the way here and crashed the day before in practice. I think he was one of them.

Nope, the GTO got all the way to I think the 2nd to last finals. He spun out. Rhys Millen was doing great. Considering who he was up against.

The GTO sounded awesome too... it wasn't as loud as the other cars. But in the staging areas where it would idle, it sounded pissed off.

Go LS1!

actually i think the S14 was one of the American drivers...

as far as i heard, none of the Japanese driver's crashed...

all i heard about was that S14 and then Daijiro Yoshihara totalling the Pacific Rim S13 (which serves them right considering they put RO_JA ricer wheels on it). care to enlighten?

Actually, some drivers did crash during practice. They kept announcing it that like 4 teams paid $20,000 to ship the car over and have it crashed. It's like the announcer wanted to drive home the point that this is for real event and they're not playing around.

I know a few American teams didn't even get to compete in D1. Like the MotoRex 350z driven by Calvin Wan. It was there on friday, my friend was there for press-day and got pictures of it and it's Black Top SR20DET. Yeah, I know... a Black Top SR20DET in a 350z, they only estimate it being 300hp. The VQ35DE would make that much with a simple K&N filter.

Anywho, it wasn't there on Saturday... I saw alot of cars in the video my friend shot on Friday that weren't competing on Saturday.

Too bad they didn't announce the teams from Japan that crashed out in practice... but whatevers dogg!

liaef

it wasnt ueo with his trunk open, i forget the drivers name but it was a white 86 with the reflective decals on the side...the event wasn't as good as the first one in my opinion, although i did love it...GTO is not a drift car"LOL"...rhys is a great driver but couldnt quiet get the car to do what was needed...i was standing in the infield so i was covered in rubber and its the greatest smell ever...HAHAHA, i didnt bring a camera although i could have gotten ome great shots...like the PacificRims car crashing(TOTALED) the viper crashing(10ft. front me, almost shat myself)
