LS VTEC+ECU+Turbo
OK I know this has probably been asked about a thousand times and I'm sorry but I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. In order to make an LS VTEC motor, essentially all you need is a GSR head and ECU right? Also, my LS motor is OBD1, so would I need an OBD1 GSR ECU? I'm thinking of going this route, but I've heard that LS VTEC wears too fast because of bad rod/stroke ratio and turboing in makes it worse I'm a little concerned about that...

why would you use a gsr head? Im planning on doing an ls/vtec as well and im gonna use a b16a head with type r cams because i am not a fan of the dual intake of the gsr head. And cant you just tune your stock ecu?
