Place to find OEM Spoiler?
Hello again. Sorry for the total newbie questions but I'm in western Canada and will be wanting to find an OEM spoiler for my red 96 neon. I would like it to be pre-painted. I'm wondering if there are any online forums specific to finding neon parts.
About how much should I expect to pay for such an item? I have seen them on Ebay for $150 USD but think that is a bit high since shipping will be a killer. My next question, wich relates, is exactly how many shades of red does this generation of neon come in? |

Re: Place to find OEM Spoiler?
Sorry, bud, but you aren't going to find a new painted spoiler. First, even if the paint is correct, it won't match because the original paint will be slightly sun-faded. Second, shipping a painted part and trying to keep it unblemished is a serious PITA. Third, and probably most important, no one's going to keep a bunch of different spoilers in a bunch of different colors hoping that someone might buy them. Even OEMs don't do that.
Look up Fenton Dodge in Michigan for real OEM, or one of the aftermarket body parts suppliers online. Use "dodge parts" or Dodge + "body parts" as your keywords. You should find several, even in The Great White North. Good luck.

Re: Place to find OEM Spoiler?
First off, don't listen to Scratch, he is misinformed or ignorant. Spoilerdepot.com will carry any OEM spoiler you need. You can even have it shipped to factory match your car, you just need to enter the year, model, color, etc. I just ordered a new spoiler for my solar yellow Neon SXT, sent to me painted, ready to install. My car is 2 years old, no garage storage and I will tell you that if your car is 3 years old or less, you can tell the sun fade atory tellers to go somewhere else with that crap. Your clear coat will be protecting your car's paint just fine on a car that new. Anyway, I installed the new spoiler in 10 minutes and you cannot see any difference at all. If you really want that spoiler, painted to match, and NEW, go to spoilerdepot.com. You will find what you need there for $300 or less. and I hear they are one of the suppliers that supply the manufacturers anyway....so...

Try www.newdodgeparts.com they seem to have good prices on most stuff, although I've never ordered anything from them...
