I own a 1982 BMW 323i euro model and most of the mechanical parts can be found pretty easily from the BMW dealerships and from the various aftermarket companies. I believe that the engine on my car is the same as 1984 models. Also, alot of the engine parts from the mid to late 80's model 325E or 528E should be interchangable with the 1984 323i euro's. These Euro type cars are referred to as gray market type. They are not very common in the USA and the resale value is comparable to USA models. These cars have become popular among bmw enthusiasts because they are fairly quick and they have great handling.
