Question Headlight problems

I recently installed a set of Xenon Blue headlight bulbs to try and get that HID look. The problem is...the driverside headlight is brighter than the passenger side one. What should I do? Also...if you know a better nulb that has a HID look, please let me know. Thanks.

Re: Headlight problems

I am using Silverstar 880ST on the fog lamps and I am using some Korean Xenon bulb on the head lamps. Check that your headlamp capsules have the luminicent coating on the back side. In my case there is one when on hi beam mode that looks darker than the other and is caused by dark spots on the head lamp capsule.

Re: Headlight problems

thanks for the info. could it be that the brighter bulbs are pulling more current than the stock halogen and screwing up the amperage or something? I am realy getting frustrated. Someone else posted that i should get silverstar headlights. I don't know though. If you know anyone who could help, then ask around and i'll do the same. Advance Auto told me to clean the terminals (whaterver that is)lol! Any info is more than appriciated!

Thanx Man,

Re: Headlight problems

yeah, could just be pulling more current. my brother put brighter bulbs in his cherokee and one is brighter. my friend with a ranger has the same problem too. i dont think it's dirty terminals.

Re: Re: Headlight problems

hmmm????....,
Well, I guess that i'll just have to ask around at some more places, and maybe talk to a dealership in town and see what they suggest. If you are able...please let me know if you find out any more info. I'd realy appreciate it!

I have silverstars in my GT's headlights. They work great. Are the 880ST ones a direct fit for the foglamps?
