Xsara kits - manufacturers

Hi, I'm a newbie here and I tried to use the search but couldn't find an answer.

Is Heller the only one who makes a kit of Xsara (either stock or WRC) in 1:24 scale? I understood that the Heller kits are a quite crappy. I don't mind having a challenge but still some comments of this kit weren't so inspiring.

I'm planning to convert the Heller WRC to a "stock" Xsara with WRC bodykit and turbo conversion. So no Rally decals will be added. I need to change the tires and wheels to Fujimis alternative ones and I think that the interior needs to be done again... Does the kit come with a detailed engine? Or engine at all...

No engine, and the kit is okay but it does need a lot of help. I think Renaissance makes some transkits for it. Heller is the only kit of it so far.

think its saxoangel (or angelsaxao)whos done 1 or 2 road going versions of the xsara

kit does suck but only as sucky as a bad fujimi! its the interior and under carriage detail that lets it down but as there the areas your probably going 2 modify its wot you make of it.

cheap kit 2 they retail in the uk for like £5 ($9 odd)

some ideas for you

Hey, GREAT pics! I love that Spanish Xsara! I somehow managed to forget to buy the Max Power issue where it was introduced (probably has been in many other mags too) do you have any larger pics? Maybe you could e-mail them for me?

I was just wondering if I tried to make the engine out of scratch...but it might be a bit too difficult for my skills. Maybe I'll try it though, but if it doesn't come out well (as it probably won't) I'll keep the bonnet closed... I'll just concentrate on the big intercooler Anyway, at least I need to take a lot of pics of my own 1:1 Xsaras engine...

Btw, when you guys make the bodykits, do you just use putty? I tried to make a bodykit to my on-going project (VW Corrado with MB 3-litre inline six and rear wheel drive conversion) with only putty but that sucked. Had to start all over again and decided to forget the bodykit.
