Wheel upgrade, Wheel RUB?
im upgrading the rims on my 1999 Z24, and the tire size will be 225/45/17 ... all im concerned about the front wheel rubbing the inside of the wheel well when i have the steer turned full to either side ... anyone that knows if im gonna have problems or if it'll fit, pls get back to me

They will rub some depending on what rubber you use, get something with a real low profile like Parada Spec2's. I have 17's on mine and my tires rub (I have Dayton's and they rub but not all the time). I had Falken Ziex's before, they're good too (they didn't rub I mean).

Re: Wheel upgrade, Wheel RUB?
???WTF???
They wont rub. 225/45/17 is perfect. Cavs have so much wheel well room, they dont rub till you get up to 19's

Maybe mine rubs because its an older car? Hmm, I don't know, could be the Daytons too. I think that I'm gonna get them to put Falkens back on cuz they never rubbed but now when I cut the wheel real far I hear RRRRRRRRUGGHHH (approximate sound effect) and my wheels are 17" ADRs (similar to the Sokudo 10 but not the same thing). Could be?
