2.3L Turbo engine swap in a 88' Ranger
My dad picked up a 2.3L Turbo four from a Merkur XR4Ti, (pretty sweet ride) and is in the process of swappin it. He read an article in Hot Rod Mag. about a guy who specializes in the Turbo four, and has been extremely successful racing them in his Ford Pinto (yes a Pinto). But how many cars can u think of do 11 sec quarter miles and still get 20+ MPG, didn't think u could! Anyway, the final product should be pretty sweet and ill show pics once the swap is complete.

You oughta check out the boards over at RPS (see my signature). One of our admins is just about finished with the same swap in an 83.

if you need refrences on the turbo swap, there is a web page, www.therangerstation.com they show how to do a turbo swap for a ranger.
