Obliques?
I was wondering if any of you know of any good exercises for the obliques. I already have the 6 going, but I want to complete the look with the obliques. Thanks in advance.

Re: Obliques?
Sit sideways on ab crunch machine and do left/right crunches. Set weights on machine to maximum, do slow (5 second total) 3 sets of 10 reps on each side.

Re: Obliques?
there are quite a few. i change it up. i do what oz posted, and you can stand up and hold a weight in either hand and tilt to the side. really CONCENTRATE or FOCUS on the muscles you are working. you should focus for any exercise, but especially for this one.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll have to try those when I go to the gym next time.

Re: Obliques?
Alright, I got an oblique question.
whenever I doing standing sorta side to side bend overs (Standing with weight in one hand, and bending over with rotation about the belly button (for reference)) everytime I do it on my right sid,e I get a sharp almost electrical shock up lifting back up. I'm pretty sure this is a legitimate exercise,a nd I've never bene injured or hurt anywhere there before, the shock always occurs in my left inner thigh/groinal area. It's weird and annoying as hell.

-i wish i could find a picture for the correct form. i can describe it though. lets have the weight in your right hand. feet should stand shoulder width or wider. place your left hand on the waist or hip area, and kick your hips to the left away from the weights. keep your weight balanced or as close to a 50-50 weight distribution as possible. i may end up taking pictures if anyone cares...this is one of 3 oblique exercises that i do.
