Ceramic pads are just a way for them to get money from you.....I would never allow them to put that crap on my car, stick with the old faithful pads and rotors....much cheaper.

Re: ceramic brake pads and new rotors

the rotors are junk on these cars it takes about 6 months for them to warp. in my opinion ceramic pads are more wear resistant that gm pads and that means they'll probably warp the rotors even quicker. did the shop service the rear brakes too??
the book charges 1.8hrs r&r front(i think) and .6hrs service& adjust rears. maybe $120 parts so technically you might've not gotten ripped off but it's increadibly easy to do brake jobs on these cars. actually takes about .5hrs front and .4hrs service rear. do it yourself next time.
