Anybody know what kind of ecu i need for a rb25det swap into a 300z? Tell me what you guys think of this: I've got Mitsubishi FTO front body panels and lights from flash options online. so the front of my z will look like this: http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/aero/d...-cuartro01.jpg

and giovanna kirin 19x8.5" wheels, JIC FLT-A2 coil-overs, powerslot rotors with ebc redstuff pads

Nismo tranny and gearbox, centerforce clutch and flywheel, AEM adjustable cams and an upgraded t3/t4 turbo. I've used most of these parts before, or have friends that use these parts so even though i'm still an "beginner-to-intermediate" level engine builder, i know what i want. i know a lot of z fans are going to hate me for this though. I'm going to draw it out and post it to give you guys a better picture of it when I'm done.

Why would you make your car try to look like another? I never understood that! I mean Integra to ITR conversions and 240sx to Silvia conversions i understand... but I think that is a horrible idea! The rear lights are awful too! I only respect your choice of Engine and Drive-train! The rest sucks, sorry!

I don't think it looks like any ONE car...it's more of an idea, sort of a concept car, I guess. Honestly, I've never tried doing things like other people. I don't brag; I let everyone else do it for me. I hate being like everyone else. So I think my concept car is a glimpse of my own individuality. Look like the million bucks you don't have, you know. But I appreciate your honesty. Also, I've never liked the WHOLE of ANY car. Either I don't like the front or I don't like the rear or something else. I hate the FTO's rear and I wouldn't buy one anyway because it's a lower priced first/second-gen version Mitsubishi, which suffer from crank walk more than any engine I know of. But the front looks nice. As for the taillights, they look a lot nicer on Michael LePore's 300zx tt, which was in Modified mags November 03 issue. I think he has a picture on aeromodifier.com, his website. Those look better cuz they're molded into the bumper real clean and smooth, with a third brake light molded into the hatch. Anyhoo, thanks again for your honesty. I'm changing those wheels though; the giovanna anzio's look soooo much better.

Wait. You HAVE the panels from Flashoptions.com? Or are you PLANNING on ordering them? Dont go with FO, they're horrible bro. They rob their parts from Japan, and bring them back to Mylasia. We ordered a 4g63t engine for our project GS-X... Hosing dry rotted, turbo was siezed, and all the belts were on the verge of falling apart. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Go with us instead dude, we can get you what you need. We can supply you with all the RB25DET needs, ecu, wiring, engine, trans, everything. We have the clips just sitting around ready for order. Personally, If I were going to make a concept Z... I would do this. Headlights are beautiful, leave them. Taillights could use some work, I would slap in some R33 4door taillights, and mold in a FULL R34 stock fascia, running boards, and valence. That would look some kind of sweet. Engine wise you chose good, RB25DET is a great powertrain option, my boss has one in his 1992 240SX. It flies man. Take into consideration the Z weighs what... 3400lb's? So RB25DET pushing 260hp, the power to weight isnt to good there. Before the engine goes in, do a little modding first. Remember man, I can get you whatever you need JDM wise. Peace foo's

plus I wouldn't get a Centerforce clutch. They're garbage and don't hold any sort of power and are generally poor quality. Ask around you'll hear alot of bad press about'em.
