GMC Vandura Computer
Hi, I am new to this situation, I have a 1989 GMC Vandura, and was wondering how I can access the computer so as to read any fault codes etc. Do I need to connect a Laptop or...??
Thanks for your help. John |

Re: GMC Vandura Computer
Its 88 right? then u have or should if original and not apgraded an OBD1 comp system on it. To acces your PCs info and read codes look for the connecter under the sterring column. On mine its mounted under stering slightly on a right next to the hood oppener. Use OBD1 code reader, with the right addapter that will connect to it. good luck.
PS pls reply to [email protected] if u got the msg, cause i am new to this and wanted to know if it worked. |
