b16 in a crx

hey whats up guys. im new here and im sure someone already posted this, sorry. i just bought a 89 crx and want to drop a jdm b16 2nd gen.can anyone tell me what the motor will run stock in the 1/4 mile.by the way is gutted but not all the way.and if anyone can tell me there set ups with a b16. thanks

I think most people have said they have been running like 14s or high 13s

i got it from a shop here in tucson, az. i think the 2nd gen.b16s came in the like the 95 to 96 hatchbacks sir. the diff. is theres motor tq and hp in the 2nd generation.

more like low 15s or maybe high/mid 14s on a perfect launch and drag radials. but no way in hell will he get into the 13s on a stock b16.

a b16 hatch... you should expect 14s. with an SiR II 170hp B16, maybe low 14s.

It all depends on the launch, how the car is running, the temperature, etc. etc. etc.

well im in tucson az so it gets pretty hot down here.im a good driver i guess.does it count if people ask me to race there car for them.so then u guys are saying basicly high 14s with a gutted crx?
