Question tin can like rattle

Hello I have a 2001 2dr Jimmy with 4.3 auto/auto 4wd, 2 days ago a rattle that sounds like a tin can tied to the drive shaft started. It is only on acceleration and turns into a rumble/ floor vibration at around 35 mph . I've looked at everything from underneath no help.
I checked all the wheels , and all the brakes (4w disc) no help .
it dosen't change with 4wd or 2wd or 4wd auto. HELP PLEASE.

Have the U-Joints check and soon. It sounds like one of them is going.

Thanks that was it. The aft u-joint had a frozen bearing the dealer wanted $118 for the part and $75 for labor. I did it in 45min for $8.00

I too had that problem. I was waiting for someone to tell you what was wrong. I took mine to a repair shop and they told me the same thing.
