tenzo r rims

I was thinking about getting a set of 17 in Tenzo R rims for my Integra, but I heard that Tenzo R were like inferior quality or somehting. They look pretty good to me though. Any thoughts/horror stories? THankx.

Re: tenzo r rims

I've never heard anything bad about them. Do you have a picture of the style you're getting? I kinda like their black ones with a polished lip..

Also just an fyi if I were you I'd get some 15's or maybe 16's because the heavier 17's are harder to get rolling with 4-banger torque. When I switched to 17's I could really notice the difference at lower rpms. the only upside is (most of the time) 17's look better.

Re: tenzo r rims

I have a set of Tenzo R's on my 93 prelude->17 inch Mean 6 and they are a very nice quality rims. I am very happy with them. Here in Canada, some of the road suck due to the snow (causing cracks in the street) and the rims have not need a balance since i installed them. No problems with the rim finish either. That is my input on them.

Thanks guys. yeah I think I'll be going with the tenzos after all. Probably the AV-7 in white. I think those are really cool. Yeah I'm aware of the added weight from the bigger rims but I'm probably going to be doing a lot of bottom end work on my engine this year and maybe even stroking and resleeving so there should be plenty of new torque.

Re: tenzo r rims

The ones that look like the older mugens are nice. I think it's called the morphix black w/ a red lip would be my pick, but there are more colors
