New Silerado Body Style

Hi Guys,

Just note to see if anyone else has this bugbear about the new Chevy body style. Have you noticed that annoying gap between the front inner fender and the front bumper that allows the wheel to throw mud and crap onto a freshly washed bumper.
When I asked my dealer about this he told me to use a piece of inner type to bridge the gap...Shheesshhhhh....I pay $43, 000 for a truck and he wants me to use inner tube and duct tape?
Anybody know of an aftermarket fix that looks factory cherry?

Thanks,

Barry

try the inner fenderwell coating, the rubber kind. tack up some thin sheet metal and cover it up. factory origanl clean look that protects from rust

Sounds pretty shady to me you would think that you could write chevy about this and have them do something about it

Hi Barry,
I total agree with you!! I thought it was just me being anal. Just wondering if you found out how to stop this from happening. I was think about inserting a small sponge, but I'm not even sure that would help. I just makes me mad.... you wonder who the designer was on this model GM!!! Does anyone know who to forward comments directly to GM?
Thanks!
Amy
