cold air intake

I've been wondering how to make my own intake? I was wondering if there is any way to run the pipe to one of the fog light cut-outs? Is this even possible? What type of metal should I use....stainless steel or aluminum?

here is a thread on making your own intakes... i dont know about the fog light thing. i think it would be possible, just takes some creativity. im not sure how practical it would be though.
