Cheap fix

Hi, the "A" pipe on my stock manifold for my 89 si is falling apart internally and am looks for a really cheap fix (besides rewelding the loose parts). I think the stock manifold and "A" pipe from a d16z6 would work as a replacement.

Does anyone know if it will fit and mount to the motor perfectly?

Thanks.

Re: Cheap fix

if by "a pipe" you mean the entire exhaust manifold back to the cat, yes any d series manifold will work, butmake sure you get the whole thing. the d16z6 manifold is a 4-2-1 design whereas d16a6 and most d15's have a 4-1 manifold

Actually I have both, my other whip (2k si) has the b16a2.

Thanks for the offer but the shipping will be crazy expensive (I think it weighs close to a ton ), I think a friend of a friend has one, just got to ask him about it...

Thanks to all for your help and info.
