debate
Me and a friend of mine were debating and I just want to make sure he can't do this because he's ready to purchase an amp that won't give him what he wants. He has four dual 4 ohm subwoofers. He wants to get an amp that has its max power at .5 ohms stereo (2 ch) or 1 ohm mono. Now if he were to run 2 channels the lowest impedance he can get is 1 ohm so he wouldn't achieve the .5. Now in bridged he can run all 4 (8 vc's) in parallel and get .5 ohms....too low for the amp then he can run a combination and get 2 ohms, but there's no way to get a 1 ohm load. Am I correct?
