Worried about my V6 ....again.. plz help

OK i have a new motor in my 96 camaro. It has about 20,000 miles on it. Tha last v6 had bad lifters then a rod messed up or something so i had to get a new motor. This one has still has minor problems. Not with the motor but just little things. The problem is it seems to hesitate. Say if i are sitting still and i get on it to where it shifts around 4,000 rpm it is smooth and fine. But when i am crusing about 30-40 and i get on it to 4,000 rpm it seems to hesitate a little usually either one - two times. I am just worried about it. I love my car but it has been nothing but trouble since i got it. Do any of you guys know what this might be and what to do to fix it? Just trying to get my baby running right.

might be a trans problem. you can have it diagnosed for a problem. id check your fluid level, and color and smell. if its black, or smells burned, you got issues, if its low, add some. if that dont fix it, or address the problem, id have it looked at.

oh and im assuming that its an automatic trans. if its a manual, the problem could be computer aka PCM related. or any number of sensors, you would have to have it diagnosed by a tech 2 to monitor sensor inputs and look for something abnormal.

its an automatic. The transmission is new too. Its only got 20,000 miles on it and it was put in a few weeks ago with the engine.

Mine once hesitated because of the transmission, be careful where you take it though, these guys are real scammers. But also check the plugs and wires.

actually having read the post further, are you in overdrive when you are cruising at 30-40mph??? cuz if you are, it might take a second to shift out of overdrive where from a stand still your in first gear already, what i normaly do is drop down from OD into D before i stomp it, the difference is drastic. try doing that and see if it solves the problem.
