I get so pissed when I see (4 cyl model only) or (except v6) when I'm looking for body parts for my 96 v6 Accord. Is there any real difference in the bodies for the 4 cyl. and the v6 models. I recently ordered a Mugen front lip and its 2 ins. short on both ends, it doesnt reach all the way to the wheel wells. If anyone knows please tell me.

reply to your question
i've got a 96 v6... and from what i understand the v6 front ends are wider than the I4 fronts. but there are 3 bumpers you can get for the 5th gen v6 accord, you can get the invader, wings west w (i believe) or the sorona (i think thats what its called). the sideskirts & rear are the same, so you could mix & match a kit if you have a performance store near you that does that.
but, you can get a I4 front bumper, you would just have to modify it some, most likely get a shop to extend it for you and im not srue how much that would run you. good luck with whatever you decide to do. oh, btw, dont get a carbon fiber hood either, unless they come out with one specifically for the v6, 'cause our hoods are also wider, i beleive. =) |

The ONLY difference in the body is that the front is around 1-2 inchs longer than the 4 cyl.
so the hood and frontbumber have to be made for it, or you have to do a ccustom job. |

Re: 94-97 v6 I4 body differences?
so the bumper does fit but doesn't reach the wheel wells? As long as it fits snug around front a 2inch fabrication dont sound too hard. Thats what im thinkin bout doin. if that wont work or its a bad idea lemmie kno.
