Keyless Entry Receiver Fix?
http://www.w-body.com/service/keyless-entry.html
As a perpetual keyless complainer, I found the above link on the Pontiac site. I haven't tried it yet but I plan to. As the owner of many Sony products, cold solder joints have great meaning to me. Has anyone tried this fix? Ray R. 94 Regal Custom 3.8L |

Works Like A Charm!
Fixed my receiver this morning. Getting the coating off the board took a couple of applications of lacquer thinner and an old toothbrush. I did only the three IC's and merely reheated the existing solder until it flowed.
