Alignment after springs?

Quick question... i've heard this both ways... i ordered my stage two h&r lowering springs for my 96 prelude... i think you would need an alignment after installation... but some people i've talked to say you dont need one unless you are doing a major drop like 3 or 4 inches... anyone know if its requiered? thx

just take to shop to check it the alignment..
alignment is required most of the time because you hit potholes and curbs, ect. in the streets often.

lowering your car can have more uneven tire wire if not align.

alignment ensures smoother ride too.

Re: Alignment after springs?

Always align the car whenever you change the suspension. Whether it be a 1/4" drop of 3" drop. Even changing out the arms can screw up your alignment.

always align because u change the whole geometry of the suspension when u change ur cars ride height unless u own yokohama or something and get free tires. I hear some cars that get dropped without alignment and they lose control and total their cars when racing cuz of alignment.
