LMAO....
30hp??? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Umm, no.
Try maybe 2 if your lucky.
You will HARDLY feel a difference, if any between a K&N and stock paper filter.

he asked about the FIPK,not just a filter. The FIPKs' for the V8's yield a dyno proven 10-15 horsepower! For your V6 I would say close to 10 horsepower!

Dyno proven eh?
A FIPK will show hardly any gain on a DYNO...
Why? Because in order for it to work BEST the car needs to be moving in order to scavenge cold air...

Trust me, I used to have a 3.8L V6 Firebird.
It's a good starter mod, but you wont notice much gain...
Even on an LT1, you may only gain about 10hp...

You are confused about ram-air and cold air intake.Ram-air needs the car to be moving not a cold air intake!I also said 10-15rwhp for a V8 and CLOSE to 10rwhp for his V6!

a kn FIPK wil hardly show a gain on a dyno? You must be joking!I will definetly post the dyno sheet(s) when I have them. They are your opinions and my opinions, but as stated I will post the dyno sheets !

The biggest restrictions on the camaros are the air intake and the exhaust.3.8,5.7 it doesn't matter get the FIPK and you won't be dissapointed!

Sorry to say this, and this might not be my place but how can you say that the FIPK will yeild a 10hp increas on an LT1?????I have a 4cyl. import and we notice gains of anywhere between 8-12hp's on a cold air intake alone...So now you gonna sit there and honestly tell me an LT1 gains 10hp????Listen to what you've said,it's just not mking any sense,,I'm totaly not trying to act like an ass or anything but,,but I'm just trying to point out some pointers....So if this is gonna turn into a fame war then this will be the last time I post here.....

I would say 10hp is about right, probably a little less. With the flowmasters, maybe 25hp total...not to bad

Its worth it . You will feel the difference. Shop for price and look at used also to save some bucks. I got mine new for $169. (FIPK)shipped searching the net for deals. Moroso make a similar product for less.

I have not seen this kit, but typically on the third gens air restriction is in the upper and lower intake, not the filter or ducting... truthfully you won't really see a difference except maybe at high revs/rpms (especially on the highway). it will not be a mod worth a $100. money is better spent on performance intake manifold. My opinion, based off my experience.
