Ok you crazy Illinois people, I laid the idea out on the table so I need to konw who and how many of you/cars are going to show up if I orgnize this. Please post up and let me know so I can get ahold of some people to make sure it is ok for us to do this. I don't want to tell everyone to come just to get kicked out of where ever we meet up. anyway let me know

Re: Bloomington cruise...

I'll be able to come, even though my car is lacking paint in places.

Re: Bloomington cruise...

Hi... first time poster to this forum.... anyways.

Are you talking about setting one up for just the AF people, or if you're looking for one that we could meet at, then there's always the Twin-Cities Cruisers's cruises they have every month (last year was back at the K's Merchandise/Ruby Tuesdays's lot, was at Toys'R'Us for a few years). I want to say it's the 2nd Saturdays of the month (Apr-Oct).
ahh... http://www.twincitycruisers.com
That would be a pretty cool place to meet, that's already set up and going!

Just thought I'd toss it out there.

Ok here is my thought, if there are going to be a substancial ammount of people, and is sounds like there will be a good ammount. Then I will setup something just for AF people/ AF peoples friends. The twin cities cruisers I don't think would be all to favorable to imports which I have nothing agenst, just I don't think it would be their cup of tea. As far as when I want to do this, preferably some time after may, I have the nationals and alot of other buick realeted stuff going on in may. I was thinking like mid june if that is cool with everyone.

Give me some feed back on this so I can work this out so everyone can attend. I have called some places in bloomington to allow us to meet at. They want to know the ammount of people there will be so I kinda need a half way accurate head/car count.

Later

Andy

Re: Bloomington cruise...

I will be out of town from June 18th to July 12th; but, if you can find a place where everyone can get together in there, please do so, even if I am not in attendance.

hey andy, i made most of the cruses last year and the mix of cars and trucks has gotten much more diverse. imports would be no problem also trucks and suv s with spinners are also represented. its pretty much turned into a "bring what ya got" kinda cruise. nice to see other peoples obsessions. ----- sometimes!!! ;-) keith

Re: Bloomington cruise...

I stopped at the Advance Auto, across from where they have the crusies, the other night, and the Twin City's Cruisers had a flyer up... purdy sure it listed April 10th as their first cruise... had two themes "Meet the Cruisers" and I can't remember the 2nd one.

I'm gonna try to be there, but I don't know in what vehicle. Depends on if my Torino is out of the body shop before then, or if I get the SS's carburetor and windshield fixed by then.
