V-8 swaps for 98+?

I just got back from Daytona Beach and I saw so many S-10's that were slammed to the ground, they looked so hott. I'm just trying to get info right now for if I was to buy an S-10. I would be getting the newer style or possibly the GMC version (same thing except front end right?)

Anyways do they make v-8 swaps for this style? I can only find up to 97 swaps. I would be swapping in either a LT1 or LS1 with the T-56 6 speed tranny. LS1 is alot of money but the specs and wieght of the motor is worth it. so does anyone know any websites for what I want to do?

while I am at it here are a few other questions:

What is the average wieght for a 97+ 2wd 2 door S-10?

What rear end does it come with? I have a Ford 9" sitting here I could use.

What are some websites for good quility drop kits, regular drop kits and air ride.
