2nd gen clock fix?

Can the clock on the 2nd gen (early 86 to 87.5) be fixed, or does the whole warning assembly have to be replaced?

Post 2nd Gen Clock Fix

The most likely fix for your clock is to re-solder the pins, that connect to the harness. If you look at the pins where they meet the circuit board you will most likely see a tiny line that goes all around the solder on the pin. Re-solder those pins and you should have a clock that acually works.

hmm... why dont you wait till you're on the hour, disconnect the battery, reconnect, then set it to the proper hour?
