Last week I was driving at 35mph and the engine just died. Restarted without a problem, then did it again after 5 minutes, and then again. By this time I got to school so I was able to let it cool off for a few hours. On my way back home nothing happened and for a week everything was fine.
Then yesterday the whole thing happened once again. It felt like the engine missed a couple of times before stalling. Both times when it happened, I was in some traffic and the engine temperature was slightly higher than normal, but not overheating. I'm thinking fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition wires. However the check engine light never came on to signal a dead cylinder... Any suggestions?! What should I check? What should I replace? Thanks |

Re: 98 lumina engine stalls while driving
why don't you let us all know what year your car is and what engine it has in it that would be sooooo helpful.
