This will sound crazy but remove your cigarette lighter. Check the fuse panel for a blown fuse. If that is it replace the lighter. It happened on my S-10 I found it by accident. Lighter shorted out and caused some weird problems

I had this small problem with my 95 Blazer. It turned out that the rear
window, wasn't shutting tight with the tailgate. Make sure this is shut tight. If it is try manually pushing in the rear button with your finger, to see if this shuts off the light.

I have that same problem every so often.
I have found that pushing the door switches by hand several times each makes it stop.
The other thing that happens, is that when I shut the car off, the radio shuts off immediately, instead of staying on fo a minute, because the computer thinks the door is open.

I had the same problem as Triaxis with my rear window. I took it to a dealer and they found that my window was not shutting all the way. They lube my latch and button and everything has worked great since.....
