Angry Intermittent Brake lockups

Im having intermittent brake lock-ups
My front left and rear right wheels keep locking up. I had a shop replace the whole clutch, calipers, master brake cylinder (non-factory, remanned),and im still having the same problem. So i took it to the dealer and they want 400$ for a mitsubishi master brake cylinder and they say they will adjust the "rod behind master brake cylinder" which they claim the first shop probably didn't cheak. Ive also been told that it may be an ABS problem but when the system is tested it does not show any error codes!! Can someone please HELP!

Re: Intermittent Brake lockups

What about your brake lines. Maby you have a colapsed brake line or hose. If the inside of a line is restricted, or the hose is blocked the calipers will retain brake pressure even after braking which may cause a brake lock up.

Other wise i think you have a brake bisa problem. Maby the praportioning valves are hooped or something.
Well good luck with getting it fixed.

The first shop could not get the car to lock up but they said the front left tire has drag. Im not 100% sure but I think they changed the front left brake line when they chanded the caliper, (know they flushed it). it seems wierd that both front left and rear right would have the same problem. The dealer was able to get both front left and rear right to completely lock up.

Re: Intermittent Brake lockups

Well im not sure how they could have been damaged, but they could just not be working properly. Otherwise it may be ABS related, but other than that ?????

Re: Intermittent Brake lockups

If i let the car sit for about 2 hours it will roll again! (I had the dealer open the valve near the master brake cyl and the pressure releases making me think its the MBS)
Also, It seems that pumping the brakes agrivates the problem.
Thanks for you input
