Wonder if the engine will be used on the new Mustangs. Like for a Cobra R or something.

Re: Mustang Boss V10 pics and videos

why put a v10 in the mustang when you could just put a v8 in it, get the same displacement, and get the same power???

The engine is being used in the new AC Cobra concept that Carroll Shelby helped design. It's a bas ass motor!!!!!

Actually this V-10 and the one in the Shelby Concept are 2 different motors. One is a V-10 351cu 500HP motor like the one in that Stang. The Shelby concept uses a V-10 427cu 600HP motor.

Re: Mustang Boss V10 pics and videos

Yeah, but thier still based off the same design, running as two inline 5's.

do you want bitch-slapped? of all the guys youd expect that from you wouldnt expect it from a mustang guy! you are starting to sound like a ricer. i can think of a few reasons. first off.
"What you got under the hood?"
"351 Boss, V-10"
"V-10??!!"
"Yeah, a V-10"

i think YOU want to get bitch slapped, who cares if its a v10, personally i would want to stick to the mustang tradition and keep a v8 in a stang. if i wanted a v10 id buy a viper. why even add the extra weight of a larger motor when you can have a 351CI v8 putting out the same ammount of power. that doesnt sound ricer at all.

Re: Mustang Boss V10 pics and videos

It's also aluminum-blocked I believe, so it still weighs less than the GT Blocks. And if it fits, why the hell not put it in, it's badass.
