Carpet sux!

Well, when I bought my 95 truck, the guy who had it before me had 2 dogs he used to cart around all the time... Suffice to say, 3 shampooes at Ziebart later, the carpet was still truly nasty... So what do I do? Grab the carpet from a 2002 Blazer... Since I had done a lot of my trim as black over gray anyway, I figured a black/charcoal carpet was in order. So $20.00 later, here is what I ended up with and what I had...(The column to center shift conversion came out well too)

The old nasty carpet:

As you can see, where the center console was is the original color...Now like I said, this carpet had been shampooed 3 times...

The new carpet!

For giggles I did shampoo this with our steamer before putting it in, probably still needs a professional job done on it...

Definitely. Looks pretty good, man. Accents the seats/dash really well, and goes with the console and what not. How much did you have to change, because of the center console, since it came from a newer blazer?

Thanx for the compliments Well, my truck came with column shift... To change it to floor shift, the only thing you really need to change is the shifter cable, and the steering column cowl...(12.00 for the top, 17.00 for the bottom at the dealership) Takes less than an hour to install...
