Three questions???
My (new to me) '98 Suburban either does not have a "you left your lights on" dinger/reminder or it isn't working. Can someone help me out here as to where to start looking to fix this (assuming that it's got one).
Also>>> In my 2000 Camaro SS I was able to re-do some wiring and/or jumper something to allow my low beam headlights to stay also on when my brights were on. Is this possible on my Sub, that anybody is aware of or must I try to figure it out myself. And>>> My front door speakers are also blown and I was going to replace them. Do the door panels just pull off? or is there more to it? Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks Troy |

You should have an alarm buzzer for door ajar, lights and keys in the ignition, etc. On my 99' I had just the opposite problem with the buzzer staying on all the time. No problem finding the module when it is on - just followed the sound. Mine was just under the dash board above the gas and brake pedals. It is a small black box about 2.5" w x 2.5' h x 1.25' t. It just pulls out and has about 6 blade type prongs. It's called an alarm module and the cost is about $34 at the dealer. Hope this info applies to your 98'. |
